I’m not going to be writing much today, as I’ll be catering to our guest bloggers’ every whim. Still, here are a few links:
Chevy picked a winner for its college ad challenge. Her name is Katie Crabb, and she’s a 19-year-old student at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. Her ad, which will break during tonight’s game and air throughout the year, shows a Chevy HHR stopped in New York City and men swarming the car, hoping to wash it so they can touch it. After it airs, we’d like to hear from our guest bloggers whether it’s as good as the stuff coming out of the ad agencies.
Apparently, about an hour ago, CBS aired the winning commercial from its “15 Seconds” contest. I missed it, and the winner is still unannounced on the Web site. Does anyone know which ad it was?
Adverlicio.us had a collection of this year’s online Super Bowl ads. There are ads here from Pepsi, FedEx, Snickers, Chevy, CareerBuilder, etc. These are not the TV ads that you can find anywhere. ... They’re true online ads intended to complement and extend the TV ones that we’ll be discussing.

So that's what you look like....

Give Chris Wall some major props. He's the only one living up to his end of the bargain, leaving almost-real-time comments on each and every spot.
