CAREERBUILDER: Office Jungle, Office Jungle Fight, Torture

JOSEPH JAFFE: The year that Careerbuilder does away with monkeys (which actually worked for them), we see a new sea of lemmings.

CHRIS WALL: CareerBuilder: bring back the monkeys. And I didn't like the monkeys, either.

STEPHEN VOLTZ & FRITZ GROBE: CareerBuilder.com, exciting it was! Again, great, consistent imagery in this sequel. They really are taking the premise all the way. It's in the small touches: "You don't even work here!" What a great touch.

MARC BERMAN: The careerbuilder.com spot was clever.

RICK BOYKO: CareerBuilder.com continues to miss the mark for most of the group.

TIM ARNOLD: The good news: they were smart enough to walk away - ok, knuckle drag away - from monkeys. The bad news: this stuff is completely buried in overwrought “production values.” What the hell is the idea here anyway? Am I supposed to be convinced to turn over my career quest to these ... monkeys?

Excelente, mis amigos, excelente!

Tne Ad Wrestler loves this. Being a recent graduate of the Instituto de Advertising de Jalisco Tech, I know how hard it is to land a job in creative. If only life were as easy as in my former career. I'd jump up to the top of the turnbuckle, beat my chest and jump down and pin my dream job. But I know this is not possible.

This ad entertained me enough so that I was really paying attention when Career Builder came up. And when the tortas, beer, and yankee football was over, The Ad Wrestler remembered the brand when his Tia told him to get of his tights, forget about the WWF and get on the WWW to find a job.

Si, se puede!

Please bring back the monkeys! I hated all three new Careerbuilder ads!

I think the Bud APES would have been perfectly suited for these presentations. "Pounding sand down a RATHOLE" would be a better use of the airtime. Utterly brainless (more creative "advertising")

Sublety seems to have no place in modern advertising. This overwrought campaign leaves one with feeling a little uncomfortable about the brand.
